Favorite Verse: Zephaniah 3:17
What did you want to be when you grew up?: Major League baseball
player, but after I realized that girls don't play baseball I settled for
Olympic gymnast. Seeing that I'm now 5+ years older than the average gymnast
and can barely do a cartwheel, I guess it's time to give up that dream.
Instead, I will be a professional traveler.
Why did you choose to be involved with WGM?: I never had any interest
in missions before attending Global Cafe, and because it dramatically
changed my life/world view I wanted to be a part of it.
What "luxury item" would you take with you on any mission trip?: A
HOT shower!! Does that count? Probably not, so I'll say- Hummus, my stuffed
frog.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? "I can
travel anywhere, except Cuba, and I will travel to New Zealand and walk the
Lord of the Rings trail to Mordor and I will hike Mount Doom." (bonus points
if you can tell me who I quoted) Seriously though, that's my answer too.
Don't judge me.
What's the strangest thing you've ever eaten?: I'll eat anything if
it's covered in chocolate!! :)
What words of advice would you give someone who is about to depart on
their first missions experience?: The areas you are the weakest or feel
the least confident are the areas in which God will work through you the
most- be open to it!!
