What did you want to be when you grew up?: ballerina, writer
Why did you choose to be involved with WGM?: Attending global cafe
reminds me of the things I have learned on mission trips. I appreciate
meeting with others who are going/have gone to other places to serve others.
WGM provides an awesome opportunity to bathe those who already serve in
prayer. I knew that if I could help out with WGM in anyway, I wanted to be a
part of it.
What "luxury item" would you take with you on any mission trip?:
definitely my camera
If you
could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Asia,
Europe, Africa, New Zealand ….yeah, not too narrow of choice. I would love
to travel pretty much anywhere. (When I was little I had this weird desire
to visit Greenland!) Norway, Italy, and Ireland have held my attention as of
late.
What's the strangest thing you've ever eaten?: octopus….not a fan,
but I’m kind of picky
What words of advice would you give someone who is about to depart on
their first missions experience?: 1. GO! Don’t let practicality stop you
from trusting God’s faithfulness. 2. Don’t bring tons of expectations. Live
in the spirit of patience, humility, and self-sacrifice. You will be amazed
at how much you can learn when you are open and vulnerable. |
