This year for Cabinet retreat we camped
locally and enjoyed beautiful weather and of course, great
fellowship. Food was cooked over the campfire, including steaming
cups of sweet Kenyan chai (perfect to ward off the early morning
chill). Brent shared
challenging messages from Deuteronomy 10:12 which can be summarized as
1.) fear God, 2.) obey God, 3.) love God, and 4.) serve God.
Following a Saturday morning of brainstorming and strategizing for the
upcoming year of ministry at the student center, the cabinet
participated in high ropes course exercises to learn more about
encouraging each other in our respective tasks. |
