Each year the "new" cabinet holds an appreciation dinner for the
graduating cabinet members. This year the dinner fell on April 18th.
We all enjoyed the steak (masterfully grilled by Ryan Nesselroade) and the
chicken with rice along with a salad, croissants, corn pudding, and baked
potato. Some of us even managed to eat the cake with strawberries that
finished off the meal.
After enjoying each other's company during the meal, we had a
more formal time of honoring each of the graduating seniors. Jonathan
Powers wrote a musical tribute to all five which you can hear through the links
below. Each Senior also received a book from the cabinet since now that
they are graduating they may have time to read them (except for Ethan who may
have to wait another 11 years to read his because of med school J).
We ended our time together with prayer asking that God would continue to make
all five a blessing to every person they come in contact with when they leave
Asbury (except John who refuses to leave J).
We'll miss them!!!!
