Prior to leaving Argentina we visited one
more school, the Castelfranco school. Castelfranco is a
bi-lingual school that provides education for students one half of the day
in Spanish, the other half in English. We visited for the English
portion of the day and provided a program (including children's songs
and skits) for the lower grades, and sat in on Q&A sessions with the
students in the upper grades, an opportunity to let them practice
conversational English with native-English speakers. Some in our group
also planned games for their physical education classes, giving the
directions in English.
