Thank you for your prayers for us on Sunday. We had a wonderful morning of field orientation, and if possible, we are even more excited than we when left about the opportunities that God is giving us here in Argentina! After lunch, we took a long walk to the "entrance of the city" which is where we are standing in the attached picture. After supper, we prepared for the church service. The service started at 7:30 and our team was responsible for two skits, special music, and two testimonies. All went very well. We know that you were praying for us! The congregation cheered at several points in one of the skits and we sang the best we ever had for the special music! There was a time of fellowship after the service that lasted till after 11PM. We have already formed many friends here and the inside jokes that follow. (You may want to ask Charlie about his long distance kiss)

This morning we are leaving in a few minutes to help paint a Christian school. Tomorrow, in addition to painting, we will be leading the chapel service there. The teachers have called off school today so that they can help us paint and get a lot done. Pray that we will be an encouragement to the teachers and that our time working will be profitable.
