Hello Dear Friends and family!
This is a short note to say that we
have arrived safe and sound here in Cochabamba! We had
a slight delay in Miami which resulted in us catching a
later flight from Santa Cruz (Bolivia) to Cochabamba,
but we arrived here around 3 this afternoon, tired, but
happy to be here.
We are staying at Berea Seminary
where we sill commence on a work project first thing in
the morning. From here we have a gorgeous view of the
mountains from this southern edge of the city.
After refreshing ourselves with
showers and a good meal, we attended the first birthday
of a little girl named Madison (see photo). Her family
attends a local church started by WGM missionaries. In
lieu of church this evening, the congregation met at the
family’s home for a supper of meat, potatoes, onions,
peppers and tomatoes and lots of singing. We were
seated up front and center behind the birthday cake. We
met lots of folks, including youth who will be joining
us tomorrow to give us a hand with the project.
The Zimmermans have provided a full
schedule of activities for us this week and we are super
excited at all that is in store!
Thanks for your prayers and enjoy
the photos!
Love,
Nathan, Cydil, Dan, Jonny, Shannon,
