Dear Friends and Family,

Well it is hard to believe, but our week is almost over.  Yesterday our team had the opportunity to go the a small village called, San Limon.  This town was built after hurricane Mitch in 1998.  All of the houses are the same because they were mass produced by the government.  Unfortunately since only houses were built, there is nothing there for the people.  Many of the children end up joining gangs and going to the streets in the larger cities to escape the hopelessness that they feel.  We shared the Gospel with those people to help them see that the only hope we have is in the Lord.  We presented three of our skits and Katie shared her testimony.  Nathan also shared a devotion word about blind Bartemaous.  After the service we made Power Bracelets with the children and young people and explained how those colored, plastic beads can help them to share the Gospel with their friends and family.  That service was a very rewarding time for many of our team members.

Today has been hard with temperatures around 105 degrees and we are seeking the shade when ever possible.  The house is almost finished.  The walls have are all done, the roof is in the process of going up even as I type this letter.  Esmilda will be able to start moving into her new home in days.  She is so happy and excited that whenever someone mentions her house she begins to cry with joy and gratitude.  This evening we will have a commissioning/dedication prayer service for Esmilda, her family, and her new house.

Tomorrow morning we will begin our trek back to Tegucigalpa. We will arrive in the capital in time for lunch, then some souvinir shopping.  We are hoping to distribute food to street children in the evening through a program directed by one of the national churches in Teguc.  Sunday morning we'll pack up and head to the airport around 10 AM.

Please pray for us as we travel and as we interact with Hondurans along the way.  Thank you for keeping us in your prays.  You have protected us from the injury on the worksite as well has given us strength to do whatever task God has set before us.  God bless you all.  You are on our hearts and minds.
